A Human Being Died That Night

A Human Being Died That Night

A Human Being Died That Night is tightly adapted by British dramatist Nicholas Wright from an award-winning, best-selling 2003 book of the same name by South African clinical psychologist and research professor Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela. The play is based on interviews Professor Gobodo-Madikizela conducted with the infamous Eugene de Kock. The production challenges South Africans to provide the impetus and structures which will bring healing and transformation. It encourages the audience to reflect on our history of atrocities and rethink the importance of forgiveness.
