Bielie is a humorous and poetic tale about an aspiring “bushveld buffalo” determined to make his mark as one of the Great African Heroes. With the passion and zeal of a true hero, he practices his strength daily: he devours sardines with the tin and all, walks hundreds of miles without ever getting tired, and practices his roar like a lion against the bushveld winds.
