Jana and Chris wake up after a difficult night. Neither of them slept much. Each is trapped in their thoughts, but there is something heavy and unspoken between them. Jana is quiet, but something is brewing inside her. Chris is walking on eggshells around her. He tries to reach out, but she remains distant. Through the stiff progression of their morning routine, the previous night’s events are gradually revealed. Jana is hurt. A festive meal was interrupted, and there was blood in various places in their home. An intimate glimpse into a tragic personal loss while life relentlessly drags on.
