Om skoon te wees takes place in a school bathroom. The play exposes the intense, raw interaction between two schoolboys, Jaco and Ruben, as they confront their personal struggles and the emotional weight of their actions. The bathroom setting amplifies the rawness of their interaction, creating a stripped-down space in which the vulnerability of the two characters is revealed.
