Pattern Drafting

If you have already worked with commercial patterns and want to incorporate your design elements or need a better fit, this workshop is for you. We will start with a short introduction to the tools and equipment required for pattern drafting. Flat pattern drafting systems will be discussed, and in this workshop, you will learn the art of measuring, including taking pattern measurements (ease). Dart and style manipulations of patterns, such as removing darts and creating style lines, yokes, gathers, and pleats, will be discussed.
