TEBELLO – The Night Piece

TEBELLO – The Night Piece becomes a space for dozing, dreaming, sleepwalking, and performance; seeking a state of tiredness that makes us more receptive, permeable, and sensitive. The scenic experiment begins in the late evening, with each participant having their own bed, then concludes in the morning with a shared breakfast by both the audience and performers. Through a collaboration of South African and German performance artists, TEBELLO – The Night Piece aims to explore the rich traditions and rituals of Southern African cultures.
