Vincent – His Quest To Love and Be Loved
Vincent is an 80-minute cabaret/small-scale musical which explores the life and loves of the 19th-century painter Vincent Van Gogh. This one-actor, one-pianist show tells the complex story and characterisation of Vincent’s quest for life and love, woven together by the actual (translated) letter correspondence with his brother, Theo Van Gogh. The story is both emoted and moved forward by reimagined popular songs. The underscoring for the musical is drawn from impressionistic piano works such as those from Debussy and Ravel.
