The memories we keep are the ones stuck to the soles of our feet
The memories … is a physical theatre performance originally created in response to Cecil Skotnes’ painting “The Last Supper”. The narrative links the painting’s Judeo-Christian mythology to the current global moment by looking at the impact of wars, the politics of mobility imposed by nation states, and the plight of those forgotten in the aftermath. Moving through text, sound and movement, The memories … explores the limits of redemption, betrayal and existence.
